Why not visit the National Border Patrol Museum. Its not something you get to do every day. read along and see what there is to do at the museum.

The National Border Patrol museum is the only museum of its kind dedicated to the US Border Patrol. The Border Patrol was founded in El Paso in 1924 and the museum gives you insight to the remarkable history of the agency. Visit a number of different exhibits at the museum with a large collection of Border Patrol artifacts. See some former Border Patrol aircraft including a Hughes OH-6A helicopter and a Piper Super Cub airplane. You can also learn about the history of the use of dogs, electronics and vehicles in the Border Patrol. It is not the largest museum in the world but plan to spend about an hour or so browsing through the museums artifacts. It can make for an interesting afternoon.

If you would like to visit the museum you can find it at 4315 Transmountain in El Paso, Texas. Hours are from 9 to 5 Tuesday through Saturday and admission is completely free. They do accept and greatly appreciate donations however. For information on current or seasonal hours or directions you can call the museums information line at 915-759-6060.
