The Samsung U600 is a pretty decent handset underneath, but to be honest the first thing you'll notice about the SGH-U600 is its looks. Available in four colours - platinum metal, sapphire blue, garnet red and copper gold - the U600 combined KRZR style glossiness with a fairly standard Samsung layout. There are also some hidden soft keys behind the SGH-U600's glossy surface.

It's a pretty well specified phone - the Samsung U600 has a 2.2" 240x320 pixel display, a 3.2 megapixel camera, microSD expandable memory (with 60MB available internally), a multimedia player capable of playing back MP3, AAC and WMA formats, a web browser and email client plus assorted messaging enhancements.

The Samsung U600 is part of the premium Ultra Edition range, at 10.9mm slim the U600 truly is a feat of mobile engineering. The perfect combination of style and functionality. This sleek, inspirational mobile is equipped with a 3.2 Megapixel camera, auto focus and an amazingly high quality 262K colour screen.

The feature rich U600 plays multiple audio formats including MP3, AAC, AAC+, e-AAC+ and WMA. Utilise the U600's Bluetooth capabilities with a wireless stereo headset, allowing you to remotely control your music player, or transfer your music at lightning fast speeds using USB 2.0. Either way, it's all music to your ears.

It's not a 3G phone, but the SGH-U600 does support quad-band GSM, GPRS and EDGE. Overall the U600 measures 103.2 x 49.3 x 10.9 mm, but Samsung have not specified how much it weighs. This is certainly an elegant looking device, although many people will prefer using a handset with a proper keypad.. and to be honest, you're not exactly stuck for choice.
