Vacation planning is like shopping for clothes. You want to save as much as money as you can, and you want to the best. You must plan to find the right vacation that suits your personality and style. You must ask yourself the following questions.

What is important to you? People are different. Some people like to stay in big luxury hotel. The others want to save money. Are you willing to compromise in order to save money? You must know who you are.

How much activity do you want on your vacation? If you are an active person, you do not want to relax on the beach all day. You may want to hike, swim, ski, and run. You should look for a place that will allow you to do that. On the other hand, if you want to relax on your honeymoon, you do not want to go to extreme sports convention.

Who do you go with? If you plan to go with kids, you should find activities that you can do with them. You may want to avoid dangerous activities like rock climbing. If you are going with your fiancée, you probably want to look for something romantic.

Are your expectations realistic? If you don't have a lot of money, you should not expect five star hotels. Do not plan to fly to dine in French. You do not want to overspend the money that you do not have. It is foolish to spend your life savings on a few days trip.
