Learning the guitar is not hard, it is simple... it is not difficult, it's different...

With that in mind, here are some inspirational videos that you can watch to get some fresh ideas. Have your guitar ready with you and try and learn the song a measure at a time.

Play the first measure, pause it, and replicate the sound with your guitar until you can play it comfortably, then move on to the second measure, then third, and fourth, etc... Do not move on to the 3rd measure until you can play the first two together, and do not move on to the fourth until you can play the first 3 together.

What is a measure? A measure is a series of notes played together as part of a rythmic idea. (my definition, not the actual one)

For simplicities sake, a measure is whatever you want it to be. You be the judge, and you can break down the song in to as many measures as you like.

Test your discipline and see if you can do this for one song at a time until you learn it completely. Remember speed is not the key, and it doesn't matter how fast or slow you learn the song. It is important that you try and learn the entire rythmic idea from each video below, and not just the parts that take less time to learn. You owe it to yourself and your guitar to learn complete ideas, and not just the parts you want to learn!
