For any new bodybuilder or any person not receiving the muscle building results they desire must be trying to figure out the fastest ways to build muscle. One of the most important steps is to keep a chart with the progress. It is very important to keep account of your progress if you want to build muscle as fast as possible. The main reason for this is to see how much you are improving in your lifts. This will let you know if you are starting to slack on your workouts. Target the muscle you want to build, and start working on building it one set at a time. Perform say 3 sets. You can start off with either doing the most weight you can handle first, or doing little amounts and work you way up to large amounts. You need to try and put all your workout's in quickly because the more your muscles are worked in a certain period of time the more they will grow. So you should only spend 1 minute and 15 seconds in between sets.
The amount of reps can be a big impact on growing fast muscle. Instead of doing 10 reps of moderate weight, you should do 6 to 8 reps of high weight. This stimulates fast muscle growth.

Your 1 rep max = 150 pounds
You should do 6 reps of 120
or 8 reps of 115
