In the course of your life you will be faced with making thousands of choices. To have success in life you will have to learn to make decisions in the face of fear. It's easy to think that people who are successful in life don't have any fear in the decisions that they make, but that is totally wrong.

The issue isn't whether you feel fear when making decisions regarding your success in life, the issue is whether you are allowing that fear to stop you from making the decisions that you need to make. The decisions you make in life may be wrong but then again, they may be right. The majority of the time you will never know if it was right or wrong until after you make the decision.

There are basically two choices you have in making decisions:

1. You can mull over and over in your head the pros and cons of the decision at hand and never make a decision because you don't know if it will be right or wrong. If this is the case, many great opportunities will slip right past you because of your inability to believe in yourself to make the right decision.

2. Or, you can make a decision based on the information that you have and be willing to be wrong. If you are wrong then you will have learned some great things in the process and be better equipped to handle future decisions. However, you could be right and therefore reap the rewards of taking your fear head on and not letting it paralyze you from inaction.

The fear of being wrong will hinder you from having success in life. Trust your abilities, talents, and instincts. You have more ability in you than you think you do, you just have to start believing in yourself.
