Cleaning The Touch Pad On Your Photocopier

Having a clean touch pad is extremely important as the response time is invariably delayed if the touch pad or the touch screen is dirty and dusty. Usually a touch will be sealed so one does not have to worry about dust or dirt entering into it and spoiling it. However, since the touch pad is constant is used and touched by the user, it gets dirty and greasy. This will make it more difficult to use after a period of time.

Therefore, it is necessary to clean the touch pad and the touch screen one in a way to ensure that it works properly and you do not have to keep touching in the commands to ensure that your photocopier can receive it.

The best way of cleaning a touch pad or a touch screen is using isopropyl alcohol. Use a 50% solution. Take a little bit of the solution on a damp cloth and gently clean the touch pad or the touch screen. Do not push the cloth hard against the screen as it might damage it. In case you can not lay your hands on a 50% solution of isopropyl alcohol then an ammonia based window cleaner can be used. In fact, any glass cleaning liquid will do the trick.

Once you have finished cleaning the touch pad or the touch screen gently, let it dry out. The alcohol will evaporate and you will be able to use the photocopier in no time. It is important to be gentle and careful while cleaning the screen as it is more expensive and time consuming to repair a broken touch screen than taking a little bit of effort while cleaning it.
