Luxury Flooring Company Helps Power Jan's Journey
Barefoot Floors has pledged support for Ernst & Young partner, Jan Gregory, as he embarks on an ambitious journey to raise funds for The Prince's Trust.
Jan is tackling a 269 kilometre ride across Costa Rica - from the Pacific Ocean to the Caribbean Sea - in just seven days.
He will bike, hike and kayak his way through rainforests, volcanic regions, mountains and rivers - and camp in remote jungle locations. The adventure ends on the 30 September.
Jan said: "It's a once in a lifetime opportunity to push yourself beyond your limits, to test your endurance and dexterity both physically and mentally.
"It'll be tough, but it'll also be incredibly rewarding, knowing that we have helped change a young person's life through The Prince's Trust.
"Ernst & Young are corporate patrons of The Prince's Trust."
Dawn Gibbins, chairman of Barefoot Floors said: "We were delighted to support Jan with this gruelling fundraising adventure.
"We wish him the best of luck."
Jan is part of a team undertaking the challenge, which hopes to raise at least £25,000 for The Prince's Trust.
