How to Use Instant Wrinkle Removers for Healing Wrinkles

How do instant wrinkle removers work?  Are they effective at healing wrinkles or is it just a trick of the light?  You'll find the answers to those questions in this article., Also let's take a look at how you can reduce the signs of aging and improve your skin's overall health.

Why Do We Get Wrinkles

In order to understand how instant wrinkle removers work, you have to look at several theories concerning the cause of wrinkling and the other signs of aging.  This will also help you understand how healing wrinkles is possible.

Theory #1:  Habitual Facial Expressions

It has long been held that laughing, frowning, smiling, squinting and other facial expressions eventually cause wrinkling.  It is an old theory that has never really been disproven, but you have to realize that when the theory came along, we could not "see" what was going on at a molecular level.  Today, we can.  That's why we know more about healing wrinkles.

Instant wrinkle removers based on theory #1 include synthetic peptide-protein complexes designed to penetrate the skin and paralyze the tiny facial muscles.  That's the same thing that Botox injections do.  No one knows if they are safe for long-term use.

Theory #2:  The Sun

There are still many experts who say that 90% of all of the signs of aging are caused by overexposure to the sun.  This has lead to the creation of numerous products, intended for daily use, that have an SPF rating.  The sunburn protection factor was never intended for this purpose.  When people rely too heavily on sunscreens, they spend too much time in the sun.

The sun is not the actually cause of wrinkling or skin-cancer.  UV radiation from the sun increases the production and activity of free radical molecules within the skin cells.

Antioxidants would normally counter the damage, but many antioxidants are quickly depleted when you are exposed to UV light.  It normally takes one molecule of an antioxidant to counter one free radical molecule.  So, they are quickly used up.

Theory #3:  Free Radicals

When it comes to healing wrinkles, we have some news.  Dermatologists recently reported that older skin cells contain more free radical molecules, while antioxidant levels are lower.  If left unchecked, they say, the molecules damage the cellular membrane, the collagen fibers and DNA strands.  They attribute all of the signs of aging to free radical damage.

Tricks Can Be Solutions

There are new instant wrinkle removers on the market that make you look better initially by bending light just slightly, so that the skin looks smoother than it is.  It's a trick, but the new cream is also effective at healing wrinkles, because it contains a unique antioxidant.

An extract from sheep's wool has been shown in laboratory studies to act as an "enzymatic" antioxidant.  Instead of one molecule to counter one free radical molecule, one molecule can counter and control millions of free radicals.  The great thing about antioxidants is that they can also prevent AND repair damage.  Look for instant wrinkle removers containing Functional Keratin.   See author box below. That's my advice. -Margaret Bell
