Most burglars are experienced professionals whose job is to break into your house and steal whatever they can. Your job-with some outside help- is burglary prevention

In 2004 the Bureau of Justice reported that

-77% of all crime was property related
-17% of all crime domiciles were violated by a burglar
-85% of all burglaries the offender gained entry into the house or other building.

But the fact is that a determined burglar will get into your home. That is his job and let's face it, looking at the statistics, they are unfortunately good at it.

Remember this: property crime occurs every 3 seconds, a home burglary every 15 seconds. Three other tactics might be used to help prevent a burglary are home security alarms or burglar alarms, property marking and home security cameras like the cyber eye.

Home security cameras as part of a home security system are very effective in two respects. First as a deterrent. If a burglar sees that a property is covered with surveillance cameras they will have second thoughts in targeting that property. Second, if they are not that smart and decide to enter anyhow, a good surveillance system will capture the images of the perpetrator making it easier for the police to capture the bad guys. Home security cameras can be wired or wireless, real or dummy, indoor or outdoor, or any combination thereof.

One of the most effective digital surveillance cameras on the market, the Cyber Eye, senses the image of an intruder and automatically records and saves it to memory. It's easy to install and very small (2-1/4" High X 3-1/4" Wide X 3" Deep). This infrared B/W digital surveillance camera will take pictures automatically whenever someone moves in front of it and then digitally store the pictures within the micro-camera. This allows you to retrieve them later just by plugging the camera into your TV/VCR.

This camera is great for catching someone sneaking around your house or you can put it in your car and aim it out the window. Since it works by changes in the picture and not motion, you can take pictures through glass and it will still work beautifully.

You can set the pictures to be taken at 1-60 second intervals. (UP TO 680 pictures) The unit will automatically add a time and date stamp to each picture. The LED's allow pictures to be taken in the dark.

With the advances in home security alarms, home security systems including wireless home security and home security cameras maybe, just maybe the bad guys will think twice before breaking into your home

Chances are very good that you are reading this because in some way crime has touched your life or you want to be proactive and protect yourself, family, home, or business from the ravages of crime. That is the first step.
