Using the Law of Attraction in Your Life - 15 Revelations from My Own Journey
I had been aware of the Spiritual Universal Laws for some time, including the Law of Attraction, but hadn't paid too much close attention.
When a series of circumstances occurred and came together over a period, I realized I had to pay closer attention and embark on a learning journey to find out more and understand the Law of Attraction at a deeper level. I guess it was a wake up call, or 'divine direction', to look into it more seriously ... and there followed an incredible journey for me ...
When I looked more closely at the Law of Attraction in this new light, I knew I'd found something that explained so many things that previously had been without explanation and perplexing me.
I also was intuitively inspired and driven to find out more, not only for myself, but also because at a more profound level I knew that my quest, my life purpose, was to help others understand and guide them along their journeys to enhance their lives - in my role as a coach and sharer of enlightening self improvement information.

With constant and concerted commitment to learning, applying, tweaking, and reapplying Law of Attraction principles, I've made great strides in understanding the dynamics of manifestation, and experiencing how closely they're aligned to achieving success - in my own life, in the lives of others, as well as those of my clients.
This is what I discovered about Law of Attraction key principles as I got my mind and heart around it and pulled it all together to put it into positive action and daily practice that achieved results for me.
They are simple principles, but simple does not necessarily mean they're easy to absorb and apply.
They also lend themselves perfectly to the presentation of a process, a system, that coaching clients interested in the Law of Attraction embrace enthusiastically and tangibly.
1. What you focus on is what you get - Whatever you think about expands. What you focus most of your attention on - whether positive or negative, and whether you want it or not - is what you attract to yourself, to your experience. In other words, you attract more of what you spend most of your time thinking about.
This bears repeating, until it's fully absorbed - to totally 'get it' beyond the head level and integrate it at the heart and cellular level!
2. Transform yourself from the 'Inside-Out', not outside-in - Here's a major test - If what you want and desire isn't showing up on the 'outside', that is clear evidence that you're not truly believing its possibility on the 'inside', or at your subconscious level.
This may astonish you, as you know you've spent so much time focused positively on what you want and desire. The relationship between your conscious and subconscious is a very complex interplay.
But, you do need to look 'inside'. You need to do more work 'inside' - removing limiting beliefs and truly believe and not doubt in any way that you can have what you desire.
3. The Universe listens to your 'Feelings' (whether good or bad) about a subject and reflects that back to you in your experiences - The Universe doesn't judge or distinguish whether your feelings are good or bad, or whether they're right or wrong.
Whatever you put out, the Universe reflects back to you. It's not what you consciously do, but how you 'feel' about it at any given moment.
Positive thinking isn't enough - because it's often disconnected from your true and actual 'feelings' about a subject. That's why positive affirmations alone don't always work. The same applies to tactical action plans - if you don't have your heart, true authentic feelings and faith behind them, they're unlikely to work either.
4. Resistance is what stands between you and what you want - We have to identify and clear our limiting beliefs to free up and open the pathway to allow what we want and desire into our lives. (As this is such an important and perplexing subject, an entire follow-up article is devoted to it).
5. Like attracts like - like energy attracts like energy ... We are magnets with vibrational energetic frequencies. Practice Law of Attraction principles positively and you make yourself a magnet for whatever you want.
6. You can be a mindful and deliberate creator of your own life by your own design - Using the Law of Attraction, you can draw circumstances, people and clients to you. All you have to do is change your energetic vibration - it can be about people, money, or whatever. Make the decision to be a focused, concerted and deliberate creator to your very own design in your life!
7. It's not enough to keep collecting information - You have to 'ACT' on that information - When you get an 'inspired' idea, a hunch, from your gut instinct - don't miss a beat. Be decisive and act with speed. The Universe loves speed. When you delay or procrastinate, the Universe will take the idea elsewhere for someone else to act upon ... Ouch! Yikes! ...
8. The Universe abhors a vacuum - it rushes in to fill it. Become a bigger person. The bigger you grow, the bigger your intentions, the Universe will come in to fill the space. Build your character, your inner strengths so that you can withstand the obstacles. Be bigger than your problems. You have to become a more powerful person.
This is kind of a 'wind at your back' factor, in that the closer your work aligns with what is waiting to be born or needed in the world, the more synchronistic assistance you will receive. And, you'll know for sure that you're on the right track ...
If your desire is to create your wealth, and keep it when you have it, you have to become a bigger vessel to hold the money.
9. Expect that it's already on its way - Know and trust that it's yours and that the Universe has put it in motion for you. Expect miracles today!
10. You can only attract into your life that which you 'Allow' - So, once you've established with crystal clear clarity what it is that you want and desire, and you've taken solid action, then let go and surrender ...
When you want something too much and you're too attached to the outcome, you actually repel what you want. You inject a sense of desperation, fear, lack and potential loss.
Allowing and receiving are closely connected and this area is indeed the most difficult for people to come to grips with and apply.
11. 'Efforting' is the enemy of getting what you want - It shouldn't be hard work or a struggle. It's about returning to our natural state of attracting our desires, easily and 'effortlessly'. Look at nature, there is no effort - only in our human experience.
You need to change your predominant 'vibration' from one of 'lack' or 'not having' to one of infinite possibility and certainty. Just relax and enjoy! ...
12. The best way to attract what you want into your life is not by 'doing', but by 'Being' - 'Be' what you want to be right now. When you live the life that you want, when you live it now, what you desire will show up easily. For example, clients will just show up - as you attract like for like, they'll be attracted to you and just appear.
13. Live your highest vision, live your purpose, your passion, and you will easily be 'in the flow' and serendipity and magical things will just happen because the Universe will line up events, circumstances and people behind you to make your desires manifest.

14. This is a major self-improvement and personal development journey - When we grow and receive, we have a responsibility to share it and help others. The more you are of service and help to others - whether the immediate people around you, your community, globally - the more you will fulfill your true potential and life purpose.
15. Learn to master a simple and quick short-cut method to switch your emotions instantly to the positive - When a negative feeling or emotion enters, that's in the way of your being happy right now, immediately reach for and replace it with a positive happy thought and feeling, in that very moment. Just like flicking a switch or snapping a finger. Regularly practice this to release the negative emotion or experience.
You can put thought to this beforehand, and plan and select the positive thought or thoughts you will instantly reach for, just like a joyful storehouse or special file. With consistent and committed practice, you'll find that you're able to do this more easily and instantaneously. (This method is so important I've devoted an entire follow-up article).
This will make such a significant difference, and is so vital in tipping the balance in favor of actively attracting positive experiences to you as the Universe reflects back to you what you're experiencing on the inside. Enjoy your wonderful journey …
