Blogs Law Press Release Cyber Lynchings and The Merchants of Fear

For the record, I am a liar. I really just haven't found a way to get criminals or deceptive people to open up by telling them I am an Arizona Private Investigator looking into their lives. Sorry. Seems a shame that I and the police have to do things like this. For the record I do not consider myself a consumer advocate but I am a consumer advocate, advocate. Clearly people become victims and need a champion. Sometimes I do that, but not as a vocation. More a hobby since I have never taken money to do so.

If you have come upon this page it may be because you have been directed to my website from one of The Three Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Good for you. Part 1 of a 3 part story will be out 02/01/2007. Reporters across the US are doing stories on the other two and those will be added. I also have taken my findings to the US Justice Department.

They like to swing a wide paint brush making this a consumer advocate issue verses collection issues when it is about nothing more than writing and posting anything you want on the internet. They have chosen to create posts about many people, most of the information wrong but it doesn't matter because their agenda becomes clear to the masses and the media when they read the postings. While they cry innocent until proven guilty, they convict many of crimes and misdemeanors without proof. Do the same to them and you will hear wails of how unfair it is. I agree, it is unfair.

What I take away from the story at:

http://www.phoenixnewtimes.com/2007-02-01/news/the-real-rip-off-report/full

is that everyone has rights but that somehow some of the consumer advocates would try to remove those rights which seem contrary to the concept of consumer activism. What I also take away from the article is that there is no reason to believe anything that is written in the RIPOFFREPORT. It has been made clear that there are many agendas here, some hidden and some out in the open. It's best to develop a thick skin because this is the cyber age and people are going to write about you, good or bad.

You are going to read that these three take money to fix a consumers problem. I'm a capitalist but there are some real ethical issues to this as pointed out by the reporter of this story. They are changing their tactics from ranting on their websites to ranting on a Blog where they can pretend they do not crate the posts themselves. This is an attempt at protecting themselves from libel charges. It will not protect them from RICO though.

It should not be missed that suddenly John Brewington and JFB Acquisitions has become a post on RIPOFFREPORT. It isn't a complaint really. It doesn't really specify the nature of the problem but calls me a con man. Really? No complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau, attorneys general or the courts. As always these guys prove the point for me. Lets see what the press has to say over the next few weeks. What I know is when you peel the layers of the persons history back you find they become greatly agitated at what you may find. They spend a great deal of time maligning you instead of articulating their point. They will call you names and cast aspersions at your character and not really for any purpose other than to scare you off from looking to closely at them. They make the truth lies and lies the truth. When I see this I always wonder what's under the next layer.
