Most unemployed but qualified nurses in the second or third world countries dream of giving their family a better life. They hope to achieve this by using their profession as a tool in reaching foreign shores to be able to work in their health care industry and consequently earn better and acquire better incentives. Armed with this determination, they tackle the years of nursing study with fervor and ardently pass their licensing board exams to be able to qualify for the strict requirements in foreign employment. Most of them go into the tedious task of looking for the best agency or program that can help them get into a good job abroad and allow them to take their family with them in their new life overseas. Such immigration ideals seems far fetched but with the help of government of Canada, the country has been opening its doors of job market to the many aspiring skilled professionals and workers for the past couple of decades.

The Canadian government wants to increase their skilled workers and professionals and have been recruiting migrant personnel in their rosters. Quick migration programs like the Live-In Caregiver and CNRP (Canada Registered Nurse Placement) has enabled thousands of qualified professionals to enter their shores and legally work in their labor market. This has created a lot of controversy but the bottom line is, Canada needs skilled workers in their country not only to work but to become possible future Canadian citizens as well. Overseas nurses who have managed to work and then stay in Canada has mostly been grateful for the programs that have helped them in finding and staying in their work.

Even some of the red tape involved in the immigration papers have been eliminated by the government agencies to aid the faster document processing and approval of applicants. These applicants will have to comply with the many qualifications that each field of work has dictated but most of them are more than willing to follow in the fervent hope of getting approved.

The CNRP is a program that provides nurses from abroad to Canada and places them in a promising job in the best hospitals or other health facilities. It accepts an overseas nurse with a diploma in nursing and at least one year of experience to enroll in an online CNRP course and helps them register in the Nursing Board of Canada so they can be enlisted as possible candidates for work. They will have to take a qualifying exam and if they pass will have to work and stay in Canada for a year before they can apply for permanent residency and get their family to live with them. Many agencies seem to offer their services for this program and they do charge for corresponding services fees. But it makes it easier to process your work application in Canada at a faster rate.

This promises a lot for those nurses want to work in Canada and bring their family with them later on. A brighter future awaits for those who are able to use the CNRP to their advantage.
