One of the most common causes of failure in Network Marketing business is people quitting when they come up against obstacles or suffer a temporary defeat. When you're new to Network Marketing it can seem confusing and a never-ending learning curve. And to add insult to injury, you haven't earned a dime yet.

Don't give up though, you're closer than you think.

In his book, 'Think and Grow Rich' by Napoleon Hill, there's a story of a guy who discovered a vein of gold way back in the 'gold rush' days and he borrowed money to set up a mining operation and started mining the gold.

Everything was going really well and the he was on target to repay his loans and start making some serious money. Then the vein stopped. He continued drilling in the hope of finding another vein but after a while gave up, sold the machinery for next to nothing to a junk man and took the train home.

The 'junk' man was actually pretty street smart and called in a mining engineer to look at the mine. The engineer came and did some calculations that showed there would be gold three feet from where the drills had stopped. The junk man went on to mine millions of dollars worth of gold because he knew enough to ask an expert for help.

And that's the moral of story - when you come to an obstacle or suffer a temporary defeat in your network marketing business be sure to ask an expert for help... don't just give up.

And with the Internet you may not even need to ask an expert, simply use Google to get more information. You'll probably find the information you need on a web site, in an article or from someone on a forum who's experienced exactly the same problem and got the answer from the forum members.

If you can't find the information you need you'll at least discover where to find an expert.

Don't give up, you may be only 3 feet from the gold.
