Man's Perverse Preoccupation
The state of being preoccupied
Now isn't that helpful?
Perhaps not
Let me tell you some more
Preoccupation is the mental state
Of absorption of the attention or intellect.
Something that engrosses the mind
Look further and what will you find?
From boyhood throughout manhood
Man seems to be overly preoccupied
With that noodle between their legs
They play with and hold it
From the time they get out of bed
Often cannot think straight with their head
That's the one on top of their shoulders
Because they're preoccupied
With the one below
You know that pickle they talk about
And sometimes parade and show
Perverse indeed and quite barbaric
Yet these male tendencies
Testosterone crying for release
Seem to be effective to procreate
Populate the planet
Bring together Jack and Janet
As the Creator put within man
An incessant urge
A sexual desire
A hormonal burning as with fire
I know some will call me crude
Others will deem me crass
But even women like men
Who make a pass
Otherwise we'd all be lonely
Left to our individuality
But God wired the sexes
In such a way to say
You two will be coming together
Getting acquainted
Unable to resist each other
Adulthood is far beyond sister and brother
Adolescent acknowledgment and bickering
After puberty the opposite sex becomes interesting
Kept in the proper context
It's all good and well
Though sex before marriage
Can give you AIDs and take you to hell
Anatomically speaking to the male race
Pray and get God's Holy Spirit
To help harness and keep you in your place
Lest the pickle in your pants suddenly disgrace
And cause you to fall on your face
Don't take advantage of a tender trusting lady
Be a gentleman and first build a friendship
Than a relationship from the inside out
Don't be a heartless carnivor
And merely make sport of women
Let not sexual sportsmanship be your preoccupation
Instead be noble and princely
Constrain yourself with dignity
Do so and your Creator will bless you immensely
With a beautiful damsel to wed in matrimony.
If you're married already
Rejoice with your wife and guard against adultery.
Let love and faithfulness take preeminence
Over any preoccupation with that which is fleshly.
