Teens Costumes: Yes, You Are Old Enough!

The teen years are like no others in our trek along life's highway. Making teens costumes, however, with the possible exception of choice of subject matter, are no different than making any others, but they are more difficult to come by for one reason specifically. Teens, for the most part, are part adult-sized physically and most adult-sized costumes are inappropriate for that age group. So you have to think outside of another box for the answer to teens costumes. Whatever style of teens costumes you are looking for you can shop hundreds of styles both online and in stores.

If you're a teen:
One costume that will work for teens is that of a vampire. Not only have vampires always been intriguing to all ages, the legend has been even more popularized among teens due to the vampire film, Twilight. This costume is not costly and requires very little work. Other age appropriate and great teen costumes this year are superhero costumes, fairytale costumes and movie costumes. If you're too young for a "sexy" costume, there are a few ways to make your costume less sexy. Instead of platform or high heel shoes, take it down a notch with flip flops or ballet flats.

For the older girls:
You probably have the same figure you did when you were in high school (with the freshman 15 added on, of course). There are a lot of sexy costumes that will fit your more petite figure without being too kiddie. Try costumes like school girls, french maids or sexy nurse costumes.

Head to the stores and choose from sexy costumes and Halloween costumes in your size:

• Halloween Bride Of Darkness Teen Junior Size Costume
• Teen Adult Angel
• Halloween Fallen Angel
• Teen Size Batgirl Costume
• Teen Alice in Wonderland

Just remember that you're never too old for trick or treating!
