Sussex is a big county in southeast England bounded in the east by Kent, south by the English Channel, and in the west by Hampshire. Sussex’s rich heritage shows in its distinct local personality. When you go to Sussex, you have an enticing atmosphere that does catch you back to this county. amorously known as ‘Sussex by the Sea,’ this county registered transverse perimeters with the projectsof Virginia Woolf and other artistic greats.

Sussex boasts a rich countryside featuring pristine natural landscape, historic houses, and a number of antiquated structures like ancient churches, castles, and museums. Sussex is known around the world as the base of Virginia Woolf, along with the majestic music from the world-class opera in Glydenbourg. Tourists come to Sussex for its historic sites and National Trust properties namely the Alfriston Clergy House, Bateman's estate, and the castles at Lewes and Herstmonceux. Most of these estates have wide gardens and long drawn vineyards. Sussex also has its share of rolling natural landscape such as the South Downs Way and Monarchs Way.

As a quiet hideaway with its fair share of attractions, Londoners can take a short day out to Sussex and experience wholesome holidays and adventures.
