Success Tips for 2007

The New Year 2007 is here. What are you going to do about your dreams and Goals? Are you going to make those New Years resolutions only to have them broken before you leave the party or quickly thereafter? What happens between the times that you have all of the ideas, the power and the will to make the dreams and Goals happen? Where does the emotion go that got you started toward those BIG dreams anyway?

They disappear because you may be lacking a organized plan; a set of Goals. This set of 2007 goals is your roadmap on the journey of your life. How will you know if your Dreams came true or when you reached your goals without a roadmap for that journey?

"You got to have a Dream because without a Dream, how will you know when your Dream comes true?" Dr. Mike Davison.

A pilot would never make a flight without a flight plan and also a pre-flight checklist.

Your Goals are you roadmap to successfully completing your journey. So what do you need first? You need a set of plans that becomes a roadmap to your BIG Dream and Goals.

1- Look inside yourself and decide on your Goals. Write them down and keep them with you. Review them often. Work on your Goals everyday.

2- Goals need to be worked on everyday. Forget about getting them perfect because that will never happen and you will be stopped by your own procrastination.

3- The power of successfully achieving your Goals is taking the little steps and not biting off more than you can chew. The tired old cliché of "How do you eat an elephant; one bite at a time" is the maxim.

4- Prioritize your Goals and make everyone of them, Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and with a timeframe. These are SMART Goals.

5- Put your Action plan on paper to conserve your time. You only have 24 hours a day so you want to use every second wisely.

6- To achieve your Goals you need to plan on getting enough sleep, relaxation and exercise. These are just as important as all of the other steps. Without a keen mind and strong body you are setting up roadblocks for you to slide back to your old ways of procrastination and laziness.

7- Keep a progress journal and track your success journey. Review this everyday and correct whatever you need to in order to stay on track.

8- Create a T.E.A.M. concept. Some say that team means, "Together Everyone Achieves More" but I say, "Together Everyone Achieves Miracles." Either way, a team will allow you to make great headway toward your BIG Dream.

9- Give freely of yourself toward others who need your talent and gift. Giving and receiving are a Universal law that makes things happen. When you give you get and when you get you can give again. Open your hand and Heart to give.

10- Every evening review your progress, every week revise your plan to accommodate any errors in planning, every month tweak your goals and every 90-Days create a new set of 90DayGoals.

That's all there is to successful Goals creation, implementation and accomplishment.
