The pig is the twelfth sign in the Chinese zodiac and they are people possessing impeccable manners and classy tastes who like to live in luxury and are fond of fine dining, living in style and a rollercoaster romp in the bed with their partner. They use their excellent communication skills to persuade and convince people and friends can always rely on them for solving their problems and for advice.
Wood pigs possess leadership qualities, strength of mind and organizational abilities. Magnanimity, generosity, confidence, high sense of morality and ethics, righteousness and a very helpful nature - these are the qualities that define a wood pig and render them popular.
Fire pigs are vivacious, hardworking, knowledgeable, passionate, emotional, intense, adventurous, outgoing, active, creative, motivated and decisive who are never afraid of trying out new things or taking a risk or working hard to achieve their goals. They make able leaders. Courage is their second nature.
Under the influence of the element earth, earth pigs are reliable, grounded, level-headed, methodical, systematic, practical, industrious, disciplined, down to earth, responsible yet a bit laid-back and never afraid to work hard to improve the quality of life led by his family members.
They make trustworthy employees and are best suited for working in groups for they can work in tandem with others. A lover of good times, they have a tendency to over indulge and are very attached to their family members.
Positive Side of a Pig Character
Some of the strengths of a pig personality include generosity, good manners, respect for others, class, love for peace, harmony, freedom and liberty, creativity, talent for music, intelligence and a sense of honor. They are hospitable, honest, altruistic, obliging, optimistic, tolerant and caring and have hearts of gold.
Negative Side of a Pig Character
On the flip side, pigs are native, hesitant, spendthrift, gullible, vulnerable, materialistic and overindulgent. They have a tendency to be misunderstood and misinterpreted as indolent and people can easily exploit and take advantage of them. They like to maintain their exclusivity and are very selective about who they are spending time with.
