Neuro linguistic programming (NLP) is a system of values and beliefs that are primarily used for personal development. Neuro linguistic programming is based around the principle that the methods and techniques used by an expert or professional in any field can be recreated by anyone and will have the same magical effect.

In neuro linguistic programming it is believed that subjective reality drives beliefs, perceptions and behaviours, and therefore change of beliefs, perceptions and behaviours is possible. Every person view's the world differently because and their subjective reality. In every second we take in two million bits of information through our five senses. However our minds cannot handle all this information at once, so it deletes, distorts and generalizes the information so that we can cope. But this leaves us with different experiences about what is real - no two people will ever see the same thing exactly the same.

So how do we know who is right and who is wrong?

Well, we don't. Everyone is right. In neuro linguistic programming we simply to and install empowering beliefs, and perceptions to encourage empowering behaviours. For example, in a search engine, if you type in poverty, you will get a whole heap of pages about poverty that come up, and none of them will be about wealth. The mind is similar to this because if you are constantly focused on poverty, then you will never see the wealth and take advantage of it. So this is where neuro linguistic programming comes in. It helps us to focus on things that empower us like wealth, good relationships, health and vitality, the list goes on.

Neuro linguistic programming will help any person to focus on the things in life that they want to achieve. Some people have the right intentions, but the wrong means to get to their goals in their mind. Take someone who is dieting to lose weight for instance. The person is always focusing on what they can't eat, how hungry they are and what they are going to eat when the diet is over, which makes the diet almost impossible to follow. A better approach using neuro linguistic programming would be to think about how full they are, how good they feel because they are losing weight, and how good the food tastes that they get to eat. Neuro linguistic programming helps in not only this area, but every other area as well. To achieve results like the masters of anything, we just have to alter the way we look at things.

Modeling is a major part of neuro linguistic programming. Since any behaviour can be broken down into very small codified parts, we can acquire the formula for any success by mimicking someone who is an expert. Neuro linguistic programming shows that we can break down an experts actions into their simplest forms and then recreate them ourselves to have the same outcome that the expert had, therefore neuro linguistic programming can help us to become experts in anything in a fraction of the time.

There are several courses on neuro linguistic programming that are highly informative and their techniques can be applied in real life to create success. The most amazing product that I have personally tried is 'The NLP Toolbox', it taught me almost everything I know about neuro linguistic programming and it literally revolutionized my entire life, the main changes have been a massive increase in my sense of personal power which has allowed me to dramatically increase my financial situation to one of abundance. I recommend trying the program for yourself. More information can be found at my site.
