Many individuals who want to make money on the Internet unfortunately jump in before they are correctly prepared. I don't care what you want to be, a scientist, a dentist, a builder, a teacher, an athlete, or a salesman; there are basic things you must learn before you can be effective and successful. You shouldn't just jump into a business or profession without the proper training.

This is also true if you want to be an Internet marketing expert. Beware: There are many sleazy people out there who what you to believe that Internet marketing is a "Piece of Cake" and requires nothing more than an "I can just do it" attitude and the purchase of their e-book. Well, don't believe it, it's just not the case.

Now I'll have to admit, making money online through Internet marketing is a "Piece of Cake" compared to the dreaded 9-5 working world, punching a clock and being a lowly employee for a company that doesn't have your best interests at heart. However there are still techniques you must learn and obstacles you must avoid if you're serious about making Internet marketing work for you.

Sadly, most people won't make a dime online while others will make more money in 30 days than many of you will make in a whole year. Why do you think this is?

From my experience those people who succeed online have a passion and willingness to learn. These are people who take action and aren't afraid to fall down and get back up. These people are also known as Entrepreneurs.

If you want to make money online I would suggest you find a product or service that you really believe in and are excited about sharing with other people. Then use the leverage of the Internet to tell the world. This is where the willingness to learn comes in, becoming an expert Internet marketer is a skill that can be learned and must be learned if you want to make money online.

Cash follows clarity. That's right, when you are perfectly clear on the how, what, who and why of Internet marketing, you'll have absolute clarity. And what follows clarity? That's right, cash, and lots of it. That's because clarity allows you to see the world in a whole new light. You'll see a world with an abundance of opportunity and you'll be in a position to capitalize on as many opportunities as you'd like. Cash follows clarity.

The nice thing about getting clarity on Internet marketing is that you can do it while you're working your normal job. Start slowly and join up with a group of like-minded people who you can learn from. I would suggest joining an Internet marketing group or club where you can get information and training that fits into your schedule. The Internet is a fantastic source to meet others, communicate and learn about Internet marketing. USE IT!

Think about finding opportunities that you're passionate about and are:

• International (Can be sold world-wide)

• Informational (How To)

• Immediate Access (Immediate download or Web access)

• Recurring Income (Get paid over and over)

• Require No Inventory

• Require No Customer Support

You may not find all of these attributes in one product or service, but these are my favorites. Mostly, find something that you can get excited about.

In time, with the proper clarity and passion, you'll get to the point where you'll be able to sell anything, anywhere online.
