Online Article Marketing
Article Marketing used to be used back in the day before we had the Internet. In this scenario, a business would write and article for a newspaper, the newspaper would then publish the article for free. In this it saved the newspaper money and gave exposure to the business in question at the same time. So as you can see, this was a win win situation for both the newspaper and the marketing business.
What a lot of us online have done over the years is very similar to the old fashioned Article Marketing. Essentially what we are doing is using old techniques in a new modernized manner. We call this "Online Article Marketing", in this we are submitting our quality articles to say, an Article Directory. These Directories publish our articles for free and we bring them traffic, versus as well to our own sites for promotional purposes. This in turn brings a great way of exposure if it is done correctly and not abused. Of course in all things there are these abusers that are writing "Spam" articles which hurt everyone in Article Marketing.
When I think of traffic and site building I go back to Article Marketing, one sure reason, it works. If done properly, you can't stop the power of it. Use your best judgment and stick to your topic and you should do well. Another note, keep your articles to topic of what you are writing about. Your article should have more worth to the person who is reading it. Don't abuse it by using it only to link build, you will be seen as a slammer to the people that its most important to (The Readers). Make your efforts a planned way, let the articles flow, most of all have fun. I personally enjoy writing articles with anticipation of people reading them. Sometimes I will even imagine my readers enjoying them as I write.
Also keep in mind that you are trying to optimize your website for these terms for organic viability.
So enjoy the efforts that your putting forth, Enjoy Article Marketing.
