The Promise

It's ALL ours. we inherit the WORLD- by faith of course. And that GOOD NEWS becomes even BETTER NEWS when we realize we can't lose it. I know that religion has taught that we come into the world as sinful little babies, but I don't buy that. I accept the message in Genesis that says I'm created in the image of God and that all of mankind that He created is not only good but VERY GOOD!

The are so many promises in the Bible that one has to wonder how we had our eyes taken off of them and our attention focused on our sinfulness, sin management, and the evil that mankind possesses. I don't care what goes down, I'm holding on to the promises of Romans 11 that the promies of God can't be taken back. God will not withhold His promises. As Paul puts it, they are IRREVOCABLE!

Works for me!

I'm just one of those people who give more credit to the Creator than I do to the creations (that would be you and I). People read in II Peter how it is God's WILL that none should perish and yet hold on to the church teaching that man has this FREE WILL and we're somehow more powerful than God. How much sense does that make?

Was God's plan so flawed that He allowed us to over rule Him (here on earth in the third dimension yes, but not in the fourth) and do what we want, making it so that by far the majority, if not 90% of His creation, go to this so-called hell where fire burns a person eternally while those who are in heaven, looking down and laughing, enjoying seeing their loved ones unmercifully tormented.

I don't think so!

God is love and He's placed us here to experience "this life" as much as we can. We can make it a heavenly thing or a hellish nigthmare, but in the end, when this experiment with life is over, the PROMISES are still good- ETERNALLY.

But, why not embrace those PROMISES in the here and NOW?
