Everyone wants gorgeous looking skin and with a little dedication anyone can have it! Skin care doesn't have to be complicated; once you have your regime down, you'll be able to keep your skin in great shape. Get gorgeous, glowing skin with these helpful skin care tips.

1. Always wash your skin with a gentle cleanser; look for products that are free of detergents and won't leave behind a dulling residue. If you have oily skin look for cleansers that are oil free and non-creamy. Dry skins are better suited to creamy cleansers or milks that won't remove essential moisture.

2. A clay based mask treatment once a week will help eliminate excess oil and keep pores clean.

3. Look into superficial skin peels that will provide extra exfoliation leaving skin soft and vibrant.

4. Don't overdo it with harsh scrubs and abrasive cleansers - always use a gentle touch.

5. Don't pick at your skin; attacking pimples can lead to scarring and can spread infection.

6. Always rinse with cold water; this will help to constrict the pores. Afterwards, use an alcohol free toner to prep your skin for moisturizer.

7. Use a fresh washcloth everyday as bacteria can grow on the damp fabric and get transferred to your skin.

8. Shampoo hair daily and avoid product build-up; hair care products can clog pores and lead to breakouts.

9. Allow enough time for a new skin care regime or treatment to start working before you give up - most products take at least six weeks to see results.

10. Always wash your face after you exercise to remove dirt and sweat that could clog pores.

11. Try to avoid touching your face excessively to prevent the spread of bacteria that can cause acne.

12. Always, always, always use an SPF every single day. This is a surefire way to prevent premature aging.
