In the summertime many people will hold house parties or even take the party outdoors into the back garden if the weather is particularly nice, although don't hold your breath regarding the British Weather! This will mean that you will have a lot of people visiting your home which may open yourself up to a lot of worries and concerns when it comes to making sure your home doesn't get damaged or dirtied with many people being in your home.

Our carpets and furnishings often bear the brunt of heavy wear and tear, dirt and spillages during the summer months, with many people walking through your home. If they have been outside then there is a good chance they could walk grass, dirt, mud and soil on to your carpets. Grass and mud can stain your carpets as well as get buried deep into your carpet pile.

Another thing to watch out for is food and drink stains, with the slightest hint of good weather many UK households will get the barbecue from the garage, shed or its winter storage place. Barbecues can result in your carpets having food items dropped on them from burgers to hot dogs, usually covered in tomato ketchup. Wine, other drinks and common spillages can also stain carpets, so you need to be aware this could also happen in your home.

Many people may believe they would be able to clean up any mess right away which is the best way to handle any stains, but sometimes we may not see spillages happen whether it goes unnoticed or party-goers are too shy to admit they have spilt something. This could mean that you only discover the stain the next day or later, by then you may find it difficult to clean the stain properly.

Luckily you could hire the services of a professional carpet cleaner, who have the tools and solutions to remove most of the toughest and dried on stains from your carpet. Their processes use specialist
stain removal and protection treatments that not only lift the dirt off from your carpets but can also protect them so that they are unlikely to get stained in the future, making them easier to clean.

As well as carpets you may find that your upholstery or curtains also get spills and stains too, these fabrics can all be handled by the same drier carpet and upholstery cleaning process.
