Attracting What You Do Want
I had a "bout" of subconscious creation a week or so ago. I was in the mood of "everything is hard work. Getting clients is hard work, keeping clients is hard work, marketing is hard work, promotion is hard work", etc. etc. I was aware that I was thinking that way, and knowing the Law of Attraction I was also aware that my negative feeling about those thought would not be very beneficial to me!
And that showed! No new clients came in for nearly two weeks, the ones that had booked in nearly all postponed or cancelled their appointment, and business opportunities that had been shown didn't prove to be any good. All in all it was a -let's put it this way- interesting week or so!
Now I also know the remedy: turn your thoughts away from what you do not want, and towards what you do want. That will automatically make you feel better, which will make you attract and allow more of the "good stuff". For some reason, though, I was not able to consistently shift my attention from the "bad" to the "good". Whenever I stopped thinking and feeling about what I did want, I would be drawn back into this pit of "nothing seems to work……..". I just could not make myself feel good longer than a couple of minutes at a time before I would be pulled back down.
What to do in those circumstances?
If you are consistently applying the Law of Attraction, and know that it works infallibly, then really the only thing you can do in times described above, is allow the situation to be what it is. Quit resisting, and accept whatever is going on. It is no use swimming against the tide by "forcing" things into being; that will only make matters worse, as the intent with which you will be doing so is generally not very optimistic. Resisting in itself is an act of disallowing, which will bring more of what you are disallowing! Allowing your negative feelings to be, while still working towards better feelings by guiding your thoughts, is the appropriate action during these times.
Now this may sound counter-intuitive, as we most of the times want to force things our way when we are feeling bad. We "work" on changing the undesired situation. Trust me, as soon as you can see that that is a completely useless exercise, you will want to stop it rapidly. Take your mind OFF the negative, and put it ON the positive, and keep it there as good as you can. That will ultimately help you to improve the way you feel, which will improve the quality of what you attract!
Simple, and very very powerful!
