Exercise: an Easy Way to Relieve Stress

Every one of us confronts with stress and pressure in our lives and nowadays it is one of the major reasons for heart attacks. It has become important for us to relieve this pressure. But vacations or seclusion might not be your answers and you don't always have to consult a psychologist or a doctor to elude from all that stress. Studies have shown that exercise is one of the best ways to relieve pressure and reduce stress. Exercise is not all about your physical fitness or weight control; in fact it is a way to make you mentally healthy too.

You might wan to escape from all the negative emotions which reside in you. Activities like boxing or martial arts can be an effective way to discard these emotions. You can let your frustration and agitation out by utilizing your energy in working out rather than letting them loose on people around you.

While exercising your body releases hormones like endorphins which not only reduce your perception of pain but also uplift your mood.

Exercising is a good way to escape from all the worldly worries and pressures. You may spend some quality time with yourself alone or with friends at a gym.

If you are looks conscious then exercising will help you feel good about your physical appearance; as your body will be leaner and physically fit and you'd be able to wear all those clothes which you've always dreamt of!

It can turn out to be a healthy social activity. You might be able to meet new people. Building a new social circle or staying connected with your friends can prove to be a good distraction.

With increased physical fitness and less vulnerability to diseases, you escape form many of your health worries. Your increased stamina and immunity to common illnesses save your money and time.
But for all these benefits you don't have to exhaust yourself with heavy workouts. Theses simple exercises can be as much effective in relieving stress:

Move your right foot in circles for about 25 times and then do the same with your left foot.
Sit in a chair and put your legs straight and then bend. Straighten them again and bend again. Carry out this activity for 25 times or so.

Circulate your both wrists, 25 times each.

Now move our head to your right and then left, do it 25 times.

Simple exercises as jogging, cycling, walking or climbing stairs can also reduce your stress level.
