Audio Books - How Busy People Read on the Go.
Unfortunately, reading as a pastime is becoming less and less common. People are just far too busy to spend an hour or so sitting or lying around reading a book. We tend to read only what we have to for work or school and leave the "entertainment reading" aside.
However, with technology expanding at the rate it is, there is now a way to continue enjoying books without taking up any of your time.
They are called AUDIO BOOKS or E-BOOKS.
Audio books can be downloaded from one of thousands of websites and played from your cd player, mp3 player or Ipod, or from your computer.
This means that the options for where you can "read" is just about endless. "Read" while walking the dog, or doing housework or on your daily commute to work. These are all activities that are done daily that now can be even more productive.
Everyday more and more titles are being added to the list of available audio books. You will find audio books on topics such as history, self help guides and autobiographies as well as novels on everything from romance to thrillers to humour. The list is endless.
So if you have forgotten the joy of reading, start searching out your favorite titles online and catch up on the reading you have been missing out on.
My favorite site for audio books is http://www.spokenword-audiobook.com because they have over 5000 titles to choose from and more being added every day. There is no membership to sign up for or monthly fee and there is no software to download, crowding up your hard drive. You simply choose your title, pay a nominal fee for the book and download it to your computer. It is that easy. They even have a free title every month available to download so you can try the system out for free, so what are you waiting for? Give it a go today!
