This is a new series (1-6) of Verse No. in the Bible versus the Quran.

Verse No. 6 in the Old Testament says: Then God said, "Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters."

Verse No. 6 in the New Testament says: Jesse the father of David the king. And David was the father of Solomon by the wife of Uriah.

Verse No. 6 in the Noble Quran says: show us, keep us on or guide us to the straight path.

----------------------

The verse No. 6 in the Old Testament is Genesis 1:6

The verse continues talking about the creation of the heavens and the earth, it says: Then God said, "Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters."

It should be emphasized that we are in the first day of the creation of the heavens and the earth.

Jesse begat David, the father of Solomon

The verse No. 6 in the New Testament is Matthew 1:6

The verse continues talking about the Genealogy of Jesus Christ, it says: Jesse the father of David the king. And David was the father of Solomon by the wife of Uriah.

Who is the wife of Uriah?

Read this story in 2 Samuel 11:2-5 (NIV)

2 One evening David got up from his bed and walked around on the roof of the palace. From the roof he saw a woman bathing. The woman was very beautiful, 3 and David sent someone to find out about her. The man said, "Isn't this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam and the wife of Uriah the Hittite?" 4 Then David sent messengers to get her. She came to him, and he slept with her. (She had purified herself from her uncleanness.) Then she went back home. 5 The woman conceived and sent word to David, saying, "I am pregnant."

----------------------

In the commentary of this story, the Biblical scholars say:

King David has committed many great sins; e.g., 1) Neglect of his business, 2) Love of ease, 3) A wandering eye, 4) commit adultery, 5) kill Bathsheba's husband who is Uriah.

It follows that there are many great sins like adultery and blood shedding committed by the grand-fathers of the Lord Jesus; an example of them herein is King David.

----------------------

The truth is the truth.

Allah, Muhammad and the Quran deny this story.

This story is forged because the Jewish priests hate King David and made their best to ruin his righteous reputation.

King David was one of Allah's Prophet.

Allah's Law is do not say anything bad or offensive about any Prophet.

Also, the Noble Quran warns any one who says any offense about any and says: If you do you will dwell in the Eternal Fire in the Hereafter.

This is an important ethical and morality point.

If the Muslims, as the media claim are anti-Jews, they would have magnified and exaggerated this offensive Biblical story about the great Prophet, King David.

Also, if the Quran is invented by An Arabic man as the media claim; Muhammad would have said look at the prophets and the kings of Israel what they had done etc. Then He would glorified himself. None of these happened.

----------------------

Verse No. 6 in the Noble Quran is Chapter 1:6, Surah AL-FAATEHAH (THE KEY), 1:6

The verse says what the Muslims are reciting in their five daily regular praying, they say:

Guide us to the straight path: that is, ‘show us the way to it'.

Guide us to the established Religion that You are pleased with, i.e. Islam.

It is also said that this means: make us firm in holding fast to it.

It is also said that the straight path refers to Allah's Book, and guidance to this means guidance to that which it prescribes as lawful or unlawful and to the exposition of its content.

----------------------

In English Show us and In Arabic Ehdena

Upon translating verse No. 6 of the Noble Quran, it is:

show us, keep us on or guide us to the straight path.

The Arabic word is Ehdena.

Ehdena means show us, keep us on and guide us (to the straight way).

Also, Ehdena means make (the straight way) clear for us.

Moreover, Ehdena means give us the wisdom to know (the straight way).

In addition, Ehdena means make us successful (by adopting the straight way).
